Activities on Senja Camping and Senja

As a camping for families, we have set us the goal to offer the whole family interesting activities. We know that it does a holiday several times better if you have some memoriable moments to look back on. Therefore we have developed an offer to both the children and the parents.

Animals on the camping

Each year we have several different animals on the camping, which is much fun for the children. Goats, hens, rabbits, pigs, fish and pigeons are amongst the animals which you can find on Senja Camping each year.

Outdoor Pool

In addition we have an outdoor, heated pool width a slide which the kids enjoy very much. We have a small childenpool for the smallest children and a bigger for the elder. The pool is an attractive activity on the camping. It is open from 20 of June to 20 of August, but considering that it is outdoor opening hours are weather permitted.

Other activities

We also have boatrental width rowingboats, canoes and a cycleboat, which will give joy to both young and old. There are also several playgrounds around the camping.

For the parents and other adults we also have some activites. Senja Camping is placed in an area which is very good for mountain hikes, fishing and hunting. Boats are for rent at the camping, for fishing in Lakselva or just for pleasure.

The camping is placed right by Lakselva which is an attractive salmon river, and fishing licences can be bought at the camping. We also have a barbeque area which is placed by the lake and can be used for barbeque or social gatherings.

In addition to this there will be a ski lift available on the camping site from the winter 2004.
